Mr. Reynolds is a partner with Pfeifer & Reynolds, LLP. He primarily represents financial institutions in a variety of litigation, including TILA, RESPA, and FDCPA claims, and related areas. He also provides legal representation concerning all areas of mortgage loan servicing and secondary market transactions.
Mr. Reynolds speaks regularly to organizations interested in financial services. Some of the articles he has written are as follows: “Determining The Best Loss Mitigation Alternative,” USFN Network News (March/April, 1998); “Borrowers in Distress Attract a New Industry,” California Trustees Association Newsletter (Spring, 1995); “Companies Pitch Payment Relief,” Servicing Management (April 1995); “The Legality of Optical Storage” Mortgage Finance (January 1994); and “Electronic Mortgage Talk” Mortgage Banking ( August 1993).
Mr. Reynolds is a 1987 graduate of Dartmouth College and a 1990 graduate of McGeorge School of Law, University of the Pacific, where he was awarded a J.D. degree “with distinction.” He was inducted into the Order of the Coif and was an editor-in-chief of the Dartmouth Review. Mr. Reynolds is a member of the California Mortgage Banker’s Association, the California Receiver’s Forum, the American Bar Association, the California State Bar and the Orange County Bar Association. He is a fellow in the American College of Mortgage Attorneys and is a past chairman of the Financial Practices Section of the Orange County Bar Association. He currently sits for a three year term on the California State Bar’s Consumer Financial Services Committee.
