James P. Finerty (Of Counsel) has had over seventeen years of litigation experience since obtaining his Juris Doctorate degree in 1984 from Loyola Law School in Los Angles, California, where he graduated Cum Laude, -1st in Class. He obtained his Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Seattle University in 1964, and his Master of Science in Electrical Engineering in 1969.

With broad litigation and trial experience, Mr. Finerty now concentrates his practice on complex commercial litigation for lenders, brokers and real estate professionals in loan fraud recovery, financial transactions, banking law, bankruptcy, commercial law and general civil business matters.

Mr. Finerty is a member of the State Bar of California, U.S. Court of Appeals for Ninth Circuit, U.S. Bankruptcy Court, and the Orange County Bar Association (where he serves on the Client Relations Committee). Mr. Finerty has also served as a Municipal Court Judge Pro Tem.
